On the night when the Demon King GACKT took complete command and sound, darkness, and light intertwined, the world held its breath.
The audience was drawn deep into his world, a spellbinding realm crafted through the fusion of a powerful band sound and a grand orchestra, where every note crafted with the precision and allure of magic.
It was as if an incantation had been cast,
captivating the hearts of all who watched and listened. By the end, no one even remembered how to breathe.

After the performance, an overwhelming number of fans and industry alike pleaded for its return: “Bring that show back once again.” Now, at last, their wish will be granted.
On December 23rd, the legendary performance will be reborn.

The band members of YELLOW FRIED CHICKENz, personally led by the Demon King himself, reunite once again and joining them is the Grand Philharmonic Tokyo orchestra.
Comprising active top-tier musicians from Japan and abroad, alongside a new generation of rising talents, this ensemble stands out as a truly exceptional orchestra unlike any other. 

In the previous performance, the orchestra, cloaked in black robes and hidden behind masks, performed on their feet, commanding the stage with an intensity unseen in the world of classical music. Now, with the addition of an all-standing first-floor section, the boundary between stage and audience disappears, transforming the venue into a transcendent space where pure musical ecstasy is shared as one.

GACKT PHILHARMONIC 2025 DEMONIC SYMPHONY THE REVIVAL is officially set to take place on December 23rd at Sumida Triphony Hall.

The mind of the Demon King GACKT never rests. His relentless pursuit of new challenges continues to create entirely new scenes, fearlessly transcending the boundaries between classical and rock while evolving both. He believes with absolute conviction that beyond those boundaries lies the future itself.

To fully immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the Demon King Symphony, we invite all attendees to come dressed as if attending a Black Mass. Enjoy the evening in attire worthy of the occasion—dark, elegant, and gothic styles in deep shades of black, or outfits featuring ritual-inspired motifs that evoke the grandeur and mystery of the performance. 
Please refrain from wearing clothing that is overly revealing or accessories that may inconvenience others, such as large wings or weapon-shaped props.

Grand Philharmonic Tokyo:

Founded in 2018 with the mission to create employment opportunities for young musicians and to promote cultural and artistic activities, Grand Philharmonic Tokyo brings together top-tier active performers from Japan and abroad alongside a new generation of rising talent.
Since its formation, the orchestra has collaborated with many of Japan’s leading artists, including Yoshihiko Inohara (20th Century), Taeko Onuki, Kiyoharu, Sachiko Kobayashi, Ryuichi Sakamoto, Aya Shimazu, Shonan no Kaze, Kiyotaka Sugiyama, Shinji Tanimura, and Yo Hitoto, showcasing a wide range of musical expression that transcends the boundaries of classical music.
The ensemble has performed for major projects such as the Symphonic Musical “Honey and Thunder: Listen to the Light”, the Persona 25th Anniversary Symphonic Concert, the Tokyo Game Show 25th Anniversary Symphonic Online Concert, Game Center CX Symphony, and SIXIÈME SENS par Cartier, while also recording for TBS Sunday Theater “VIVANT”, the Shochiku film “Hello, Mother”, SQUARE ENIX’s “Triangle Strategy”, Pokémon UNITE, and Netflix’s “Rilakkuma and Kaoru.”
Under its own productions, it has presented groundbreaking projects such as “GACKT PHILHARMONIC – Demon King Symphony,” “Showa Symphonic Kayou Festival,” and “HELLO! IDOL CLASSIC.” Recognized as a next-generation orchestra unlike any other, it continues to garner high expectations across diverse fields.
In 2022, composer Akira Senju was appointed Executive Producer, with Katsuhiro Ida and Hiroyasu Matsumoto joining as Principal Guest Conductors. In April 2025, Tsunehiro Shigyo became Concertmaster.
